Types of zinc melting furnace we supply

Our portfolio of zinc melting furnace systems includes induction, resistance and gas-fired designs adapted to throughput and material feed requirements:

  • Tiltable crucible models featuring hydraulic tilt and efficient charge discharge, ideal for precise melting and safe handling.
  • Double-chamber furnaces with separate melting and holding zones, capable of capacities up to 15 t/h with 180 t bath content for zinc cathode production.
  • Chip melting configurations using vortex induction to reprocess zinc dross and scrap with minimal oxidation and high recovery yield.

Each zinc melting furnace is chosen based on throughput, metal purity and operational workflow integration.

Zinc as a metal and dross recovery

Zinc melts at approximately 419.5 °C, significantly lower than many non-ferrous metals, making it highly responsive to precise thermal control. As an industrial furnace manufacturer, we also design specialised systems for zinc recovery from dross, turning production residues into valuable reclaimed metal. These units safely melt and separate zinc (and optionally lead) from oxidation by-products, enabling high-quality recovery and waste minimization.

Why these furnace solutions matter

Each zinc melting furnace delivers:

  • Accurate thermal regulation to preserve metal quality and minimize oxidation losses.
  • Scalable options from small tilting crucibles to industrial-scale and continuous double-chamber systems.
  • High recovery performance from dross, improving sustainability and reducing raw material costs. Zn smelting and recovery is made efficient and cleaner.
  • Low-maintenance refractory designs and automated operations for maximum uptime and cost control.
